Written and technically reviewed by Aesparrow’s practising penetration testers and GRC consultants. This page explains how our guides and service pages are produced, fact-checked and kept up to date.
Who writes our content
Guides and service pages are written by practising penetration testers, cloud security engineers and GRC consultants — the same people who deliver client engagements — and are technically reviewed by a second practitioner before publication.
How we fact-check
- Every statistic links to its primary source, such as IBM, Verizon, CISA or a government publication.
- Standards and regulations are referenced to the issuing body (OWASP, NIST, PCI SSC, ISO, AICPA).
- We avoid unverifiable claims and clearly label indicative figures and opinions.
How we keep content current
Core pages are reviewed at least every six months and whenever a relevant standard changes, and each page’s structured data records when it was last modified.
